1.st of January 2012 a new chapter in Fantastic Norway’s history books were written, when the subsidary studio “Fantastic Finland” was established. The fantastic pioneers that are taking on the relay baton and continuing our ambulant architectural odyssey is our former student and colleague Pekka Ijäs and his companions Earo Alho and Cristian Steanescu.

This year and perhaps for years to come, Fantastic Finland will continue to work with architecture from a bottom up perspective and evolving the methods established by Aasarød/Haffner in 2004-2007, futher. We expect fantastic projects and stunts to occur in Finnish forests, towns and cities during in the months to come.

We will be following Fantastic Finland closely and hope to establish Fantastic Sweden, Fantastic Denmark and who knows – maybe Fantastic Brazil in a not too distant future.
