The Cut Out Cabin is situated on an island at the north/west coast of Norway, in a strictly regulated area. The local authorities demands all cabins to be shapes in the traditional cabin style. The site is close to the waterfront, with the desired view towards the north.

We have based the cabin on the standard gable roof design, but have given the plan a slight twist. In addition to this twist a series of protected out door areas are cut out and removed from the main shape.

The cabin is under construction and will be completed in july 2013.
